Sagra della Porchetta (Roasted Pork Meat Festival) – every year during the first weekend of September, Ariccia celebrates with music, dancing, stalls and exhibitions. This festival began in 1950 and is one of the most traditional festivals in the Lazio region, which helps to promote the well-known porchetta to other parts of Italy and the world. It will shortly receive its quality brand PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) from the European Union.

Festa della Signorina – it takes place on 8th December, day of the Immaculate Conception in remembrance of the miracle granted by the Vigin of Galloro, which according to tradition, saved the people of Ariccia from the plague that contaminated other neighbouring towns. Every year, at the end of the procession the statue of the Holy Mary is entrusted to one of the youngest girls of the town.

Festa della Madonna di Galloro – it was instated in 1661 by Pope Alexander VII and is celebrated at Pentecost; in the evening the statue of the Immaculate Conception is taken back to the sanctuary. Today the celebration includes a market with many handcraft products and the sale of domestic animals like ducks, cows and goats. It is then followed by a firework display.

Festa di Santa Apollonia (Patron Saint’s Day) – it takes place on 9th February when a procession follows the golden statue of the Saint through the streets of the town.
