In the municipality of Velletri, a stone’s throw from Rome, the historic family business ‘Gruppo Benito’ was born when in 1966 the Maître and Chef Benito, founder of the family, opened his first restaurant ‘Benito’. From that day on, thanks to the Chef’s passion and success, the world-famous ‘Benito al Bosco’ restaurant was born in 1972, and has now become the jewel in the crown of catering in the Castelli Romani, and beyond. The ‘Casale della Regina’ is a charming historic villa immersed in the greenery of Velletri, in the heart of the Castelli Romani. The Casale is an integral part of the ‘Benito al Bosco’ group, which for more than 60 years has been the jewel in the crown of catering in the Castelli. The splendid villa built in the early 20th century owes its name to a historical event dating back to the mid-18th century, when Princess Maria Carolina of Habsburg, the future Queen of the Two Sicilies, passed through with her retinue on her way to Naples. Today, the villa has a romantic and elegant suite with a large panoramic balcony, two bedrooms, one with a fireplace, and equipped with all the comforts to enjoy an intimate and private stay for a timeless experience.
