The majesty of the Papal Palace, which welcomes those arriving in the square of Castel Gandolfo, has certainly contributed to making it one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. From Friday to Monday it is possible to visit the Pontifical Villas and the Vatican Gardens, through the botanical rarities, the farm and the archaeological remains of Domitian’s villa, the huge cryptoporticus, up to the discovery of the luxuriant Barberini Garden. The tour is completed by a visit to the Papal Palace with its rooms full of works of art.

The tour is not wheelchair-accessible.

Fiumicino Airport: take the train to Termini station and then take the train to Ciampino. BY “METRO” (subway) 

Line A – to Anagnina, then the COTRAL Bus has links with Rome, Velletri (stops: Marino, Albano Laziale, Ariccia, Genzano di Roma – Nemi, Lanuvio, Lariano), Rocca Priora (stops: Frascati – Colonna, Monte Porzio Catone, Montecompatri), Rocca di Papa (stops in Grottaferrata).
